This just in, Cory Monteith has checked into rehab for a “substance addiction”, although we are not quite sure which substance. Checking in last night, Monteith has been to rehab before for the same addiction when he was 19. In 2011 he told us,

“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too, but for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and

go after it”.

After these inspiring words and ongoing smile, it’s surprising that this shocking event has occurred, but then again it really shows how much we don’t know about our favorite cast.

A rep for Monteith also stated: “[Monteith] has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”

Voluntarily, graciously, privacy; he really is a kind-hearted guy.

And does this mean Monteith may be missing out on some filming?

It’s the question on everyone’s mind; well, at least on Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly’s mind.

I would love to wish you all a gleeful start to the year and I hope your holidays were enjoyable. Also a big happy birthday to Naya Rivera (Santana), who turned 27 on 12^th January, Becca Tobin (Kitty), who on 18^th January turned 28 and a huge Happy Birthday to Miss Heather Morris who will be turning 26 on 1^st February. But to refer to the headline, recently at the Television Critics Association, Mr Reilly, when asked about the status of Glee’s Season 5, answered with:

“Yes, that is a real possibility. We’re going to negotiate now for the fifth season and beyond, so we’re talking about those things now.”

So although not completely confirmed, it could be a definite that we are all going to be watching a season 5 (and beyond) of FOX’s hit show.

Regardless of the awkward scheduling this season and the divided story lines from Ohio to New York, Fox is extremely happy and by the sounds of it, gleeful, when it comes to a new season. There could be a few minor changes in the location though, explains Reilly,

“I wonder- could it, and should it, naturally move [to New York City]?I have to talk to Ryan and see where he’s at right now.”

It could be a good idea with so many more core characters set to graduate at the end of this season, but would Glee still be Glee without McKinley?

“[Season 4] was ultimately what became of the spinoff talk: Let’s do it within the franchise.”, explained Kevin Reilly on Jan 8th, “I do think if we can continue to follow a broad array of characters, it’s like life, you have relationships, you have friends, they go off, their lives go on and you get together and, maybe you maintain a friendship, maybe you lose distance. I think we can do that within this world of people you followed”

Mr Rielly was also keen to point out that what lies ahead will certainly involve cast members such as Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Amber Riley and Naya Rivera.

“Some of them have moved on to other things or wanted to move on to other things, but they love the show, and this gives them a chance to come back and do an arc. It would be fun to continue that morphing.”

But as said by wetpaint.com, “Is this a sign that Fox doesn’t love this season’s new McKinley students?”

It only seems like yesterday when we first saw freshman Finn walking down the halls of McKinley, but before Season 3 finished this year the “young” actor, Cory Monteith, celebrated his 30th birthday straight after the first gathering for the show’s wrap party in Beverly Hills on May 11th.

The party consisted of the Glee Cast and other guests such as “Abduction” star, Lily Collins and surprising ended without the cops having to be called, unlike the last party Monteith tried to throw in February (nice one Cory!) “where his roommate was landed with the noise pollution citation; whilst Monteith tried to “dodge” to problem.” reported E! News.

The party for Monteith’s 30th was reported to be “fun” and everyone was surprised when the choice of cake arrived…

But before the ’big bash’ commenced most of the Glee Cast took to Twitter to celebrate another milestone of Monteith’s life. The first person to celebrate was Ms Michele tweeting, just after midnight, “AND since its after 12pm… I’d like to be the first to wish a very special bday to a very special person @CoryMonteith.. happy birthday <3″. Moments later Michele quickly followed up with, “Haha 12am…”. Poor Lea, it must have been a long week…

Later on in the day, Dianna Agron (Quinn), tweeted birthday wishes too, “A very Happy Birthday to @CoryMonteith & Dante. Cory, I want to see you dance tonight,” she wrote. Soon Ms Amber Riley (Mercedes) tweeted to the big boy,”Happy Birthday big bro! @CoryMonteith,” and so did Damian McGinty (Rory) writing, “Happy birthday to the nicest guy I know @CoryMonteith… roll on tonight!!!”.

The age-defying actor also heard from Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), who recently turned 30 himself the month before, as he put together, “Happy BornDay @CoryMonteith!! You’re now the flipped version of 03!!., “quite the classy tweet Harry.

We also stumbled across tweets from Grant Gustin (Sebastian) who wrote, “Hey yo, @CoryMonteith!!! Happy birthday!”, and Chord Overstreet (Sam), “Happy Birthday!!! to @CoryMonteith It’s a big year!”.

Mark Salling (Puck) tweeted, “Big birthday holler to my good buddy @CoryMonteith. Hopefully we can have some gtwtS over the summer”, we are guessing gtwts stands for good times with the Saw, (Good on you Salling).

Miss Naya Rivera also wished the tall man a” HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY @CoryMonteith!!!!!! I heard 30 is the new 20 ”. She might be right due to the fact that Finn is only 18.

So it sounds like Mr Monteith celebrated his turning of the big 30 in style but he definitely didn’t leave his 20s accomplishing nothing as he “continued to rock out with his band Bonnie Dune, smooched up Smash’s Megan Hilty at the GLAAD Media Awards and spoke his mind when it came to supporting issues in the LGBT community,” reported E! News.

Well, we hope Cory has enjoyed being 30 so far and Confessed Gleeks would like to wish him all the best for upcoming years.

Michele and Monteith were both spotted at Coachella on the 04/14/2012. Sounds like things are seriously heating up between the couple "Monchele"

Like BeccaGleek, I have recently joined the Confessed Gleeks team and I am so excited to start off with reporting to you all about the famous ‘couple’ Monchele!

Although at first it all seemed at bit confusing, I mean Lea could have been joking when she tweeted,

“I just saw a really hot 6’3″ Canadian with a tribal arm band hanging by the pool.. So happy:)”

Am I right? But it turns out the very beautiful Lea Michele and hot Cory Monteith could definitely be dating! Get excited!!!

E! News reported that “Michele arrived just before 3.p.m. to the Lacoste L!ve pool Party” on the 14th of April 2012. She was reported wearing “a big sun hat and white dress”. Michele socialized for a while with former reality TV star Lauren Conrad before walking around the private estate to check out some of the vendors. She also was seen scooping up some cotton candy before heading back to her cabana.

Monteith then arrived about 30 minutes later. In the meantime, Michele took to Twitter tweeting about seeing Monteith hanging by the pool and being “so happy ”. Love is in the air!

After another hour or so the two left after showing “minimal PDA” and socializing heaps!!

A few hours later Michele hopped back on Twitter tweeting, “Bon Iver and Radiohead were so incredible tonight… what an amazing night”. Wish you were there? Me too.

Monteith also tweeted around the same time stating, “Today was one of the coolest days of my life. #coachella”. Chord Overstreet was also seen at the venue. Isn’t it a small world?

So have Lea and Cory just recently just hooked up? Apparently not according to HollywodLife “the pair have been allegedly dating since the autumn by things have really started heating up recently”. How exciting!

An insider said: “Before a scene they have been seen saying, ‘I love you! Good Luck!’ and then at the end of the shooting day they have been saying, ‘I love you’ and embracing or kissing before leaving set. Everyone on set is really happy with what they are seeing with the relationship.

“The relationship is definitely strong right now between both.” I totally agree after what has happened after Coachella!

29-year-old Monteith has also supposedly taken Michele, 25, to visit his family in Canada and she was “greeted with a great reception”. Wow, things are seriously heating up. And could Monteith be ready to take things to a new level this summer? Maybe, as he is taking Michele to a very special place this summer, The Calgary Stampede.

“It is the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede, so it’s going to be extra special.” tells a friend of Cory’s to HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

For those of you who don’t know what the Calgary Stampede is Wikipedia defines it as:

“An annual rodeo, exhibition and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The ten-day event, which bills itself as “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”, attracts over one million visitors per year and features one of the world’s largest rodeos, a parade, midway, stage shows, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon racing and First Nations exhibitions.” Sounds so much fun!

In fact, did you know Prince William and Kate Middleton made an appearance last summer during their North American Tour? They will most likely go right after the Fourth of July because that’s when the Stampede starts.
